Debevoise & Plimpton LLP has been recognised by Asia Business Law Journal in its annual Deal of the Year Awards. The recognition comes following Debevoise’s role advising long-standing client AIA Group (AIA) in the extension of its bancassurance distribution partnership with PT Bank Central Asia (BCA) in Indonesia.

The annual awards from Asia Business Law Journal recognise the year’s top deals, based on monetary value, deal significance, relevance, complexity and innovation. The Asia Business Law Journal is an Asia-focused magazine published by Vantage Asia Publishing Limited, an independent publisher based in Hong Kong.

The award marks another accolade picked up by Debevoise’s Asian insurance practice this year after the team was recognised by China Business Law Journal in the insurance and reinsurance category.
