The Frankfurt office of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP has advised VINCI Energies in its acquisition of Horleman Group (Horlemann).
Germany-based Horlemann has been a family-owned company since 1933. With an annual turnover around €100 million in 2016 and 570 people, Horlemann specialises in engineering, construction and maintenance of electrical grids, as well as lighting operations and automation process dedicated to electrical grids. The transaction is subject to the approval of the German competition authority.
VINCI Energies is a subsidiary of VINCI, and specialises in energy and information and communication technology services. In 2016, it had revenue of €10.2 billion, with 64,500 employees across 52 countries.
The Debevoise team advising VINCI Energies was led by international counsel Philipp von Holst, and included international counsel Klaudius Heda (finance), as well as senior associate Johanna Marniok and associate Alexander Wolff. Antitrust advice was provided by senior associate Dr. Andrea Pomana.
