The Hong Kong office of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP has advised AIA Vietnam Life Insurance Company Limited (AIA Vietnam), a subsidiary of AIA Group, in relation to its 15 year exclusive bancassurance partnership with Vietnam Prosperity Bank (VPBank) in Vietnam.

This is the third deal Debevoise has assisted AIA with in recent weeks, having advised on AIA’s distribution partnership with Bangkok Bank in Thailand and the acquisition of Commonwealth Bank’s life insurance businesses in Australia and New Zealand (and related distribution arrangements).
