The London office of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP has advised Bregal Freshstream in its investment in TrueNoord, an independent aircraft leasing business that specialises in the regional aircraft market.

Established in 2002 by CEO Anne-Bart Tieleman as GA-Finance, the Group with Bregal Freshstream’s support rebranded and launched as TrueNoord in June 2016. It provides financing solutions for regional aircraft and aviation projects globally.

Bregal Freshstream is a private equity firm which invests in growing businesses based in Western Europe, with a particular focus on the UK and Benelux markets.

The Debevoise team advising Bregal Freshstream was led by London based partners Geoffrey P. Burgess and David Innes, and included associates Timothy Merchant and Almas Daud.
