Debevoise & Plimpton LLP has advised Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), a leading independent global infrastructure investor, in connection with the formation of its latest fund, Global Infrastructure Partners III. The fund successfully closed with $15.8 billion in capital commitments, making it the largest infrastructure fund and one of the largest private investment fund programs ever raised.
GIP is an independent infrastructure fund manager that invests worldwide in infrastructure assets and businesses in both OECD and select emerging market countries. Debevoise also served as lead counsel for GIP during the formation of predecessor fund Global Infrastructure Partners II and Global Infrastructure Partners Capital Solutions Fund.
