Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising Evercore, the financial advisor to the special committee of Fortress Investment Group LLC, in Fortress Investment’s agreement to be acquired by SoftBank. The parties have entered into a definitive merger agreement under which SoftBank will acquire Fortress for approximately $3.3 billion in cash.
