The London office of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP has advised HarbourVest Partners as manager in the successful admission of the ordinary shares of HarbourVest Global Private Equity Limited (HVPE) to the main market of the London Stock Exchange.

HVPE’s shares commenced trading at 8am on September 9, 2015, transitioning from the specialist fund market to the main market. HVPE’s listing on Euronext Amsterdam is not affected.

HVPE currently gives investors exposure to 750+ private equity funds and partnerships, including many high quality general partners.

Debevoise advised HarbourVest Partners as manager during the listing process. The Debevoise team was led by London partner Katherine Ashton and New York partner David J. Schwartz, and included associate Chris Salz. Tax advice was provided by London based international counsel Cécile Beurrier.
