In this article, the authors examine the Mexico-United States-Canada Agreement ("T-MEC"), which will enter into force on July 1, 2020, replacing the North American Free Trade Agreement ("NAFTA"). The article particularly focusses on how the Investment Chapter of the T MEC is substantially different from that of NAFTA.
