Global Arbitration Review has published the third edition of its Guide to Energy Arbitrations, which includes two chapters from the Debevoise team.
Mark W. Friedman, Dietmar W. Prager and Ina C. Popova have contributed a chapter exploring expropriation and nationalization, which have been a perennial feature in energy disputes. That chapter can be read here.
Samantha J Rowe, Aimee-Jane Lee and Maxim Osadchiy have also contributed a chapter on compensation in energy arbitration, an area that deserves particular attention given the often high-value, long-term, price volatile, and political nature of energy related investments. A pdf of that chapter can be found here.
