This client memo discusses the recent recommendation by the Judicial Conference Advisory Committee on Bankruptcy Rules to the Standing Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure for approval of an amendment to Bankruptcy Rule 2019. While generally expanding the scope of Bankruptcy Rule 2019, the proposed amendment in its revised form eliminates the controversial disclosure requirement with respect to the price and time of acquisition of any claim or interest.
