Hirsa Amin is an associate in the Litigation Department.

Ms. Amin joined Debevoise in 2024. From 2023 to 2024, she clerked for the Hon. Holly A. Thomas of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Ms. Amin received a J.D. from Yale Law School in 2021, where she was an editor of the Yale Journal of International Law. She received her B.A. summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Berkeley in 2017. 

Ms. Amin is a co-author of “Punishment in Prison: Constituting the ‘Normal’ and the ‘Atypical’ in Solitary and Other Forms of Confinement,” Northwestern University Law Review (2020).
